My name is Kelly Tarr and I am the new Regional Injury Prevention partner for ACC.  I have been in the role now coming up six months and have learned a lot along the way.  My previous role with the Ministry of Social Development has given me some great lead-in connections with different organisations but always keen to connect to enhance new and existing relationships.  I look forward to working with you all.

My role is to primarily work at a regional level to deliver on ACC’s Injury Prevention Priorities, Strategies and Programmes. Responsible for forming and maintaining stakeholder relationships to deliver outcomes for Injury Prevention to directly support Integrated and Targeted Injury Prevention Portfolios.  Initiatives include rideforever course for motorcycles, live stronger for longer for older New Zealanders, Have a hmmm campaign and summer series for safety key messaging to help all New Zealanders stay injury-free this summer.
